I just read a Facebook post about moms feeling angry and it made me feel terrible. I find myself lashing out at my kids constantly. I’m struggling to cool my temper and bite my tongue. I have two children under three and I’m exhausted all the time. My life is lacking purpose and meaning, just like Stephanie said in her video. Does anybody have a recommendation for how to stop losing my (*#&?

Giirrl we’ve all been there. The first thing I do when I want to scream SHIT in front of my kid is to take a few deep breaths. this has been so powerful for me calming down. I imagine what I’ll say and then I won’t say anything until I’m ready. Read about Courtney Harris’ mindfulness tips in Module 7. Try Diana Lane’s temper tantrums from Module 7 too. Anything from Allison Waddell is powerful! She’s in module 1 Lesson 8 and MOdule 7. Moderna Muse’s meditations are super powerful too! Have you tried the Headspace app? I used to give my kid a cell phone to play with while I meditated for 10 minutes. Also as you’ll see in Maruxa Murphy’s interview in Module 1, I actually used to meditate when my kid went to sleep in the car! It resets my brain for hours – even days! I love my friend Marisa’s meditation here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4h0LspUs3Etc3BZVUtrcS1sZVU/view . I make no sales or commission – this is just a powerful meditation that my friend did for us. It’s also FREE. No strings attached lol. You’ve got this mama.
